2010' NFL DRAFT

IF I RULED THE BROWNS
-J.GEIDEMAN 2010'

MY FIRST PICK WOULD BE......CINCINNATIS WR             Mardy Gilyard
While Tim Tebow has made news for commercials and political prayer breakfasts, Mardy Gilyard has been in Naples training with Ignition Florida, a company designed to prepare the former Cincinnati receiver for the tests that await him next week at the combine in Indianapolis.

Dayton Daily news reported that the University of Cincinnati standout wide receiver Mardy Gilyard is one of those prospects who will be looking to catch a team’s attention. Could it be the team in his backyard? "There has been ongoing speculation that the Cincinnati Bengals, in need of a playmaker, may have designs on the former Bearcat receiver."

Gilyard was originally recruited as a DB, but found his calling when he switch to the offensive side of the ball. He’s one of the major factors contributing to the success of the Cincinnati program. The Bearcats are no longer an after thought in college football. He had extremely productive junior and senior seasons in Cincy’s pass-happy offense. Smooth route-runner with better than average speed. Has good vision and a high second gear.

Mardy Gilyard was once homeless and worked four jobs to stay in school after losing his scholarship.
-MOTIVATION BY MARDY
