Mayor Domenic Sarno in Mass, has invited President Obama & Senator Scott Brown to play a game of basketball in his city, the home of the Basketball Hall of Fame & where hoops began.
"As Mayor of the City of Springfield, the birthplace of basketball, it is indeed an honor and privilege to extend an invitation to you to participate in a friendly game of basketball with Senator Brown. There are many charities in Springfield that would benefit greatly from the money this type of event would raise," Sarno said in a letter to Obama. Sarno proposed that Obama & Brown play 2-on-2, with the 2 politicians picking their "best female basketball player."
"Without divulging his entire game plan, I have a feeling his best female player will be his daughter, Ayla Brown, a star basketball player at Boston College," Sarno said.
